About Navi's Production Process

• ​Established in Byron Bay in 2023, Caroline Redwood, owner of Navi Fine Jewellery makes all jewellery by hand in Australia.

• Navi uses Perth Mint Silver to set all gemstones and all silver rings are made from this high quality Australian sourced metal.

• To created 925 Sterling Silver, Navi mixes Pure Perth Mint Silver with copper in-house ensuring the finest 925 sterling silver is guaranteed to be industry standard.

• Navi gold is recycled and melted down in the studio.

• All tools within the studio are purchased from Australian suppliers 

• ​Navi works with AAA-Grade gemstones which are purchased from Australian suppliers enabling transparency of how the gemstones were sourced. On the very rare occasion when a gemstone is not obtainable through an Australian supplier or is not AAA Grade, it will be noted in the store.​

• Lightening Ridge Opals are the opal of choice, all opals used within Navi jewellery are purchased from Australia which has the highest regulations in the world when it comes to sourcing gemstones and silver and gold.

• Navi is passionate about creating the highest quality jewellery to last generations, we are passionate about people over profit and love Australia, hence spending a little more to keep money in this country and to contribute to ethical sourcing of both gemstones and metals.​​

What we don't do;​

• Navi does not engage in utilising cheaper international labour or own/use foreign factories to maximise profit. Now do we purchase our gemstones from unknown suppliers.

• Navi does not mass produce inferior quality jewellery including hollow jewellery or plating metals like copper or steel, every piece is original, solid metal and made in our studios in the Northern Rivers​

• ​Navi does not purchase poor quality or untraceable/ unethically made jewellery and resell to Australian customers, our entire ethos is authenticity.
